The Beginning
Born from a Love of Silk
The Silk Avenue was born from a simple conviction: that silk — one of humanity's oldest and most celebrated textiles — deserves to be experienced in its truest form. Not diluted, not blended, not compromised.
We spent two years travelling through the silk-producing regions of the world, learning the difference between grades, weights, and weaves, before creating a collection we could stand behind entirely.
The Source
Grade 6A Mulberry Silk, Nothing Less
We source exclusively from Grade 6A Mulberry silk farms — the highest classification in the industry. Our silkworms are raised on a single diet of fresh mulberry leaves, producing threads of extraordinary uniformity, strength, and luminosity.
At 22 momme weight, our fabric offers the perfect equilibrium: light enough to drape with elegance, substantial enough to last a lifetime. Every bolt of silk is tested before it ever reaches a loom.
The Craft

Each piece in our collection is brought to life by artisan weavers who have inherited their craft through generations. We work directly with family-run ateliers, ensuring that every step — from thread preparation to finishing — is carried out with intention and mastery.

Every product meets our 14-point quality standard before it ships. We accept nothing less than Grade 6A silk at 22 momme. If it doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't leave our atelier.

We work with farms that practise ethical sericulture and prioritise environmental stewardship. Silk is a natural, biodegradable fibre — we intend to keep it that way.
