Silk on one side is fine. On both sides, something shifts. Lennon is a double-sided silk pillowcase in 22-momme mulberry silk — smooth against the cheek from the first hour of sleep to the last. The envelope closure keeps the pillow in place without metal or teeth. What changes is harder to name than to feel: the face less pressed, the hair less disturbed, the morning starting differently.
